Endeleg er Mini kome heim til Sauda og Noreg igjen. Me har venta på han lenge nå! Turen frå Island tok ikkje så lang tid. Me hadde trudd me måtte venta endå lenger!
Det var stor spenning i klassen då me skulle pakka opp eska frå Island! Kva hadde Mini med seg? Mini var like heil og fin, heldigvis. Han hadde på seg nokre fine pins frå California. I eska låg ei raud nase frå Skottland frå "raud-nase-dagen", ein hatt som Gaz i Chum Creek, Australia, hadde laga, eit flagg frå Tasmania, Australia, ein nydeleg Jacanoo-drakt frå Bahamas, ein kopi av Martin Luther King sin fredsmedalje frå Massachusetts og ein cd med bilete og skuleweb-sider frå Reedely, California. Frå Island fekk me eit hus, ei teikning, eit flagg og ein souvenir frå Icelandic air. Frå Texas har me fått eit bilete og brev. Larry på Bahamas har sendt oss Abaconian (lokalavisa på Man-O-War Cay med artikkelen om Mini), ein Cd med mange bilete og brev. Dette har vore kjempekjekt! Tusen takk til alle for at de ville vera med på prosjektet!
Her er ein powerpointpresentasjon (Mini har kome heim.ppt) frå den dagen då Mini kom. Me har også ein presentasjon frå festen der me feira at Mini var komen heim:Fest for Mini.ppt Me pynta tavla, dekka bord, kosa oss med drops, brus og slikkepinn, helt talar for Mini, dansa, hadde leikar og såg på video. Det var litt av ein fest! Elevane hadde planlagt alt saman sjølv.
At last Mini is home in Sauda, Norway after a long and very exiting journey! We have waited for him a long time now! The journey from Iceland didn't take so long as expected.
The students in class were very excited when they should unpack the package from Iceland. What would he bring? Mini was luckily both safe and sound! On his sweater he had some beautiful pins from California. In his bag he brought many nice things from all over the world! In Edinburgh, Scotland, they had sent with him a red nose from Red nose day, from Chum Creek, Victoria (Australia), there was a lovely hat made by a young man called Gaz, an Australian flag was put in the bag in St. Mary's, Tasmania (Australia), a beautiful Jacanoo costume was sent from Man-O-War school in Bahamas, a copy of the peace medal given to Martin Luther King was sent us from Northboro, Massachusetts and a cd full of images and school web-pages was sent us from Reedely, California. In the post we got the local paper from Man-O-War Cay with an article of Mini. We got a CD too loaded with images from Mini's stay in Bahamas and Florida. From Texas we got a picture of the class and a letter too by post. This was a lot of fun! Thank you very much for participating in our project!

We had a party for Mini: We decorated the blackboard, set the table, had both lollipops, candies and lemonade. Some of the students made a speech for his homecoming, others danced or had some games. At the end of the day we looked at a movie with two well known chipmunks from Disney world.
