Hare.

I Sauda har me hare. Om vinteren gneg haren bark av løvtrea og du kan sjå spor etter tenna på småkvister. Haren bit dei av. Då kan det sjå ut som om nokon har brukt kniv. På nysnø kan ein følje harespora. Spora vil leia deg til soleplassen. Me kan jakta på harar.

Ekorn.

Ekorn finn me i heile Noreg. Me kan sjå ekorna på uteområdet til skulen. Dei et nøtter og kongler. Ekorna er fine og små. Dei hoppar frå tre til tre. Dei bur i treet.

Gaupe.

Om vinteren kan du vera heldig å sjå gaupespor i snøen. Gaupa er det einaste ville kattedyret me har i Noreg. Gaupa har svarte strekar i lys pels. Gaupa kan eta lam. Gaupa er fin. Gaupa er ikkje snill.

Røysekatt.

Røysekatten oppdagar ein gjerne i nærleiken av ei steinrøys. Han er brun om sommaren og kvit om vinteren. Haletippen er alltid svart. Føljer du etter spora etter røysekatten om vinteren vil du sjå at han har grove seg ned i snøen ein plass.

Hare.

Bobcat.
If you are lucky you can see the footprints of the bobcat in the snow. The bobcat is the only wild cat in Norway. The bobcat has dark stripes in a light fur. They can eat lamb. The bobcat looks nice, but he isn't.

Stoat.
You can see the stoat in a heap of stones. The fur is brown in summertime and white during winter. He is always black at the end of his tale. If you follow his footprints in the snow, you will find that he has dug a hole in it.
